Basically the Cliffs were the most beautiful natural sight I have ever seen in my entire life. If you ever find yourself in Ireland, go to them. They are truly unbelievable.

The Cliffs of Moher
During my trip to Ireland, we made it a point to take a tour to the west coast to Galway city and the Cliffs of Moher. Reaching over 700 ft above the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs of Moher stand as a wondrous and awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. At it's base are said to be rocks and river canals that are more than 300 million years old and its caves and rocky ridges are home to over 30,000 birds.
Basically the Cliffs were the most beautiful natural sight I have ever seen in my entire life. If you ever find yourself in Ireland, go to them. They are truly unbelievable.

Shamrocks and Guinness
So a couple weeks ago I went to Ireland… a little late of a topic I know but it's been crazy over here!
Basically Ireland is the land of heavy accents, the kindest people and all the Guinness in all the world (and other alcohol too). We stayed for the majority of our trip in Dublin which insanely beautiful and historic. It is very similar to London except just a mini version. Pubs on every corner, old buildings built in the 1700s and lots of tourists wanting to drink.
We traveled on an overnight train and ferry from Wales and of course there were rowdy Irish folk up all night hootin and hollerin. After arriving the first day at 6 am, we decided to explore a bit of the city including the Dublin castle, a beautiful old church and Trinity College. Then it was time to drink. One beer with an Irish baked potato for lunch, check.
Our first stop was the world famous Temple Bar--the original, not a copy. It was huge with so many different rooms and packed by 4 pm with the Irish ready to party. The live band was incredible and you better believe my trip was made after jamming out to "Galway Girl!"
We also hit up a pub called Queys (pronounced "keys") and danced the night away. Saturday was all about Galway and the Cliffs of Moher which were both so incredible they deserve their own post which i'll be posting asap. After experiencing the most incredible natural phenomenon i've ever seen, we headed back to Dublin for more drinks, more Guinness and more dancing. The live music that is everywhere in Dublin is invigorating and infectious.
Dublin was a truly special trip and going with some of the best friends i've made in London made it even more memorable.

London by the Sea
Brighton Beach has been one of my favorite places that I've gone to since being in London. It offers so many things that I love in a place and basically makes it impossible for you to not love it. Settled on the southern coast of England, Brighton sits as a beachside city full of history, lively people and fish n' chips.
You can do just about anything in this little beach town that dates back to the 15th Century. Standing just before you reach the seaside is the Royal Pavilion that can be toured and awed for it's magnificent middle eastern architecture and luscious interior design. You can then make your way down the Lanes for some easy going retail therapy and pick one of the plenty restaurants to stop at for a seafood lunch. After that, head down to the seaside and take a ride on the ferris wheel. It goes pretty quick and the view is beautiful. It's not that high so don't fret if you're scared of heights!
Once you've taken in the view of Brighton from above, get down into it and head to the pier! The Brighton pier has been standing for centuries, although it did burn down at one point in history and has since been rebuilt. Take a stroll down the boardwalk and stop for some rock candy or ice cream. If your thriller side has kicked in, maybe you're ready for a spin on the roller coaster. End the day with small carnival games and badda-bing badda-boom you've successfully done Brighton Beach!
One last thing, I know the rock beach is really strange and definitely not ideal, but it is really beautiful so tread lightly and take a seat in a striped beach chair--you won't regret it!
